I'm a well educated , educated woman hoping to meet people . I am hard working, secure, and independent. I love making new friends, and have a wide variety of interests, so it's hard to share a lot here. I know and understand the important components in making relationships work, and I believe that I bring something of real value when I become someone's friend. I am mature enough to be responsible when it's important, but I also believe in letting the child inside all of us come out and play too. I've chosen my nickname because I've been told I'm a real gem and a rare find! In fact, I find my screename useful for a lot of things! I believe that my life has real value...that it counts for something and for someone who can appreciate me for the woman I am. Like a jewel, there are many facets to me. I can be comfortable in jeans and the nitty gritty of it all, or I can be the belle of the ball. I'm learning and growing every day, and I know that part of that comes from the people I'm around. I'm not afraid of challenges; in fact, I see them as opportunities to broaden my thinking and understanding about life and how to live it fully and completely.
